Arthur Jefferson Endowed Scholarship

Arthur Jefferson served as a counselor at Henry Ford College from 1967 until his retirement in 1979, following a career in the U.S. Military and also as a teacher in Dearborn Public Schools District. Mr. Jefferson was a gifted musician. He was also very active in the artistic and cultural life of the area, and was beloved by children of all ages for his annual portrayal as Santa Claus. This scholarship was created by Arthur’s family and friends following his death on October 27, 1998.
